With the Unimet PG solution, you are no longer confined to just one water meter supplier nor forced to make expensive replacements of the complete pulse output or the entire system. Simply install a different model or water meter from another manufacturer without purchasing a new pulse output and reconnecting the wires.

During regular verifications or replacements of water meters, there is often a need for by changing to a new pulse output or by cutting watertight connections and cables, which risks failures and creates additional costs. With our Unimet PG pulse generator, this becomes a thing of the past – replace the meter without any disconnection of the IoT radio device, saving you time and money. Moreover, you can install a completely different meter model without having to replace or rewire the pulse output.

Technical advantages and superior reliability

Sensors with self-learning system

  • Advanced system sensors ensures precise detection of pointer rotation (metal or coiled), even with wet water meters.

  • Double output:

    • uncompensated pulse output for total counting (FW+BW),

    • compensated output for automatic feedback correction (FW-BW).

  • Separate digital output for flow direction, which enables detailed analysis and monitoring.

  • TAMPER detection to protect against unauthorized manipulation or cutting of the cable.

  • All this through open collector outputs compatible with almost all remote reading systems.
